Lloyd vs Jake - now it makes a little more sense. At 117 and growing, Jake represents competition for Lloyd.

Little known “fact” based purely on hearsay, so since we’re doing this now, why not? Jake was actually going to be the 8th “criminal defendant” until a mutual friend and supporter of both convinced Lloyd to drop Jake off that list. This same party also was one of the unnamed folks Jake mentioned at the beginning of his Lloyd video who warned him against doing it. I could tell you the name but then I’d be outting a source like Lloyd did.

So the story goes - Lloyd was paying a lot of money for translation services and Jake’s video was by far the longest, so he didn’t need much convincing to drop Jake. But since Jake was at one point the 8th “defendant”, Lloyd clearly believes he committed a crime serious enough to warrant “criminal prosecution”.

The moral or the story is, it’s beneficial to have friends who work in Jabba’s Palace and have his slimy ear.

Also, not a good idea to advertise! advertise! advertise! what is really a convincing and factual video when watched in its entirety instead of the out of context snippets as Lloyd had intended. Takes a real dyed in the wool Cedarite to dismiss all or even some of Jake’s video as defamation and lies.

He hasn’t said what genre

In the Aftermath video he stated he was transitioning out of exJW content to anti-cult activism… he didn’t say he was dropping exJW content completely. It was hinted that eventually it will be for good. Since the money is here he’ll do as little exJW content as he can get away with.

I don’t know if he will be back on Twitter because it doesn’t do anything for him any more. He doesn’t get the adulation he used to get.

His exJW Twitter was not working for him anymore. His more vocal followers either left or were tired of the drama. At the same time, it’s been a playground for his critics. I don’t think he ever accepted that he was outnumbered there until recently, and he just nuked it as a result.

As someone so dependent upon donations, online reputation and visibility, leaving the platform also has its disadvantages. These two things can be true at the same time.

He’s practically ceded all leadership on exJW matters. Moving forward, if he wants to transition into atheist and/or anti-cult activism, it is crucial to re-establish himself there as his rebranded self. He’ll need to interact with potential interviewees and donors. He’s going to find out the hard way that exJWs were easy pickings for donors when compared to the groups he is now courting. Plus there is the leftover exJW drama that will inevitably follow him.

Yes that is the one. It was quite the self-indulgent experience for him to exaggerate his status as a “writer”. His first book was languishing in development at the time and wouldn’t be released until 2017. He was also throwing out Christopher Hitchens quotes left and right on Twitter like he was a colleague.

Another curious comment he made round that time was about the refugee crisis that was happening with Syrian and Afghan migrants making their way through Croatia. He virtue signaled that he would make his home available for migrants should they come through.

What a daft thing to say, with a wife and a 1 year old girl! It’s not racist to draw the line on not letting male strangers stay in your home in close proximity to your wife and daughter.

He was lying of course. He’d have brought out the camera for a photo op and video and then sent them on their way.

That was a very sweet post. Thing about it is if Lloyd read it, he’d read right past all that and only read into perceived insults. He’s incapable of reading the compassion in your post. His minds works in a very peculiar way and it’s always separating people into supporters or detractors.

A fine example of that is on this forum more than a decade ago with nicolaou. Nic responded to an unsolicited PM from Lloyd publicly which had to do with a particular thread they were in disagreement about. You should have seen his reaction. It was like Nic was caught bludgeoning baby seals or killing cats. Lloyd never forgot it, even years later he still brought it up like it was an unforgivable crime.

His letters to his wife reveal a very sick and twisted man. She was opening up to him and getting into how she felt in that marriage, especially considering the recent infidelities and he threw the kitchen sink at her.

He couldn’t get past the fact that she criticised him. And this is the woman who bore him two children and ran the house while he was off in another world scrolling for exJW news.

He’s probably pretty sore at Tibor right now about bailing on him. He’s the perpetual victim and it is going to take an even bigger fall and complete breakdown for him to even get the message that he is hopelessly sick and needs help.

The part that made me laugh out loud was hearing the old “I have a pen and a voice” line recycled from 8 years ago (the “Je Suis Charlie” campaign).

It was either that or Lloyd’s go-to favourite:

I swear he gets his favourite clap-back lines from a fortune cookie.

He’ll be back though. He’s eager to drop the “cedars” and anything JW related, and that handle was outdated since JW Survey is no more.

Lloyd - Since you are a fan of using “Silvio’s mob” as an adjective, I don’t suppose you have ever watched The Sopranos? Since you have more than enough time on your hands, give it a binge or a re-watch. You’ll understand why hearing that is so funny.

Thank God Kim is Italian. It wouldn’t sound the same if we were to hear “Schwartz’s mob” over and over.

means he either didn't want to pay him or Tibor didn't want to work for him, the only "mutual" involved in that is likely contrived, such as if Tibor didn't want to work for less money.

We think we know Lloyd but Tibor had a front row seat to the action. If he was making noises about not affording him at 478 patrons, you can just imagine what he was telling him at 387. Tibor’s finally figured out the nature of the grift as he’s heard it all before. All this talk about “paying salaries”, as it turns out the only salary Lloyd was concerned about was his own.

As the patrons trickled away and Lloyd couldn’t be bothered to come back from holiday primed and ready, Tibor’s red line was his salary and he wasn’t taking any less regardless of workload.

So he set a boundary and Lloyd crossed it. He was careful to state that Tibor was leaving as a result of his company being dissolved but it’s likely the other way round.

I file a stupid frivolous lawsuit against someone and it's lodged with the court I could technically say I am suing them. Even though the court may reject it out of hand

I think the best way to explain this is say if Lloyd found his tyres slashed. He makes a call to the police, making a complaint and says he knows 7 people who are guilty. (We are at this point right now). The police come and make a report. They ask “do you want to press charges?” Lloyd emphatically says Yes! and the police give them their card and say they will look into it. Lloyd then goes on and on about how these 7 people are “criminal suspects”. But the police have yet to talk to them and make the determination themselves.

The court hasn’t decided upon charging the M7. Or maybe they have and it’s a negative. One thing we do know is that it is not a positive since no one has received anything from the court. But from what I can see, this legal action is just that. He’s lodged a complaint to the court and claims they need to be criminally charged. The court makes this determination by summoning the 7 for hearings. Not Lloyd. He’s skipping ahead, assuming the court will be in full agreement with him.

Can’t make this shit up. Either he’s exceptionally obtuse in thinking this will bear fruit or he’s desperate about being able to affix a “criminal” label no matter how detached from reality it really is.

I’d say it’s a combination of both.

Considering the amount of time that has passed, I wouldn’t be so quick to attribute the court’s inaction solely to the “glacially slow” Croatian court system.
